Paul Tilley
Paul Tilley is undoubtedly the most experienced member of the band. While Tom Townsend is undoubtedly the leader, Paul could be described as the musical guru. In fact, he is probably one of the most respected and experienced musicians in the scarborough area. He is nearly always the drummer of choice for artists visiting the town and he has played live and recorded with hundreds of artists of all styles such as Vin Garbutt, Ruby Blue, Dick Morrissey, Alan Skidmore, Jacqui Hicks, Bucks Fizz and Jimmy Tarbuck!
Paul is a multi-instrumentalist who can play keyboards, guitar and drums with equal skill. He is also a successful singer songwriter with a number of CDs to his credit.
In addition to being the drummer for our blues club, he also finds time to provide a similar service to the “Julia Wray’s Jazz Quartet” and the very successful local band “Stony”.
We have been asked to point out that Paul is the one on the left in the below photograph (next to the handsome guy with the gold jacket).

Further details of Paul can be found on his own web-site: www.tilleytunes.co.uk
